What is mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary process.

Mediation is a way of helping you and your partner or relative resolve disputes involving children through face to face meetings with a trained mediator who will not take sides.

Highly qualified and experienced professional mediators help parents discuss and plan future arrangements which involve children:

  • How to organise living with two homes instead of one.
  • How to come to agreement on the division of assets.

Mediators are even handed and take neither parent’s 'side'.
